Future Farm: Every farmer to generate their own power for their dwelling and holding
Energy bills make up a large portion of farms' running costs, but these can be reduced through solar.
The new Solar Capital Investment Scheme has made this journey more accessible to farmers. However, lifting restrictions on exporting excess electricity would increase flexibility in what farmers can do with their solar PV systems, says ISEA CEO Conall Bolger.
