About the event

By 2030, Ireland aims to have 80% of its electricity generated by renewable energy sources. Such a target cannot be achieved without an increase of renewable energy projects being developed around the country. This event will examine the planning considerations relevant to building renewable energy projects.

Speakers:

Dr Eva Barrett, Irish Solar Energy Association; Planning considerations in the solar energy sector

Denis Devane, Wind Energy Ireland; Planning considerations in the wind energy sector

Suzanne Murray SC; Legal perspective on planning considerations in the renewable energy sector.
