ISEA Leadership Update: Ronan Power Appointed Interim CEO

Dublin, 29th of April 2025 — The Irish Solar Energy Association (ISEA) today announced that Conall Bolger will be stepping down as CEO at the end of May 2025. Conall will be succeeded on an interim basis by Ronan Power, former CEO of Pinergy Solar and a long-standing member of ISEA’s Board of Directors, who will assume the role of Interim CEO from May.

Conall Bolger has played a pivotal role in strengthening ISEA’s advocacy, industry influence, and member engagement. Under his leadership, ISEA has expanded its national footprint and built powerful connections across government, industry, and the wider energy community.

I am proud of what we have achieved together at ISEA,” said Conall Bolger. “The team, the board, and our members are deeply committed to advancing Ireland’s energy transition, and I leave knowing the association is stronger and more influential than ever.

Ronan Power brings deep experience in Ireland’s renewable energy sector, having led Pinergy Solar through a period of significant growth and innovation. As Interim CEO, Ronan will focus on driving member value, strengthening ISEA’s public voice, and ensuring a seamless leadership transition.

I am honoured to join ISEA at such a crucial time for the energy sector,” said Ronan Power. “The growth of solar in Ireland presents a once-in-a-generation opportunity, and I look forward to working closely with our members, policymakers, and partners to ensure ISEA remains at the forefront of Ireland’s clean energy future.

Conall and Ronan have been working closely together over the past 12 months as part of ISEA’s Board of Directors, helping to support a smooth and steady leadership transition.
